Hi Heather,
I wandered upon your site while doing a random search for a certain doll for a friends’ daughter’s birthday. Not sure what criterion the search engine used, but here I am – and I think its great! It actually first took me to your old Blogspot page which is where I saw your “reflections about me” section – wow! I think you just summed up me and my best friend put together. I love how you list out everything you’re about…I’m hoping to do something similar with our page…my husband started it, and now I’ve taken over (mostly for the grandparents, you know).
Anyway, I noticed one of your latest entries where you mention adopting and specifically Guatemala. I also noticed that you’re already on some forums for that. I thought I’d pass on my best friends information to you, as well, since she just completed a Guatemalan adoption this past November. Her name is Angel and her blog page is http://thevoiceofadventure.blogspot.com/, although most of her adoption journey is documented under http://faithsjourney.spaces.live.com/ (You’ll see me and my kiddos on her page as well.) Anyway, she’s away on a road trip for a few weeks, but I know she’d be happy to chat with you when she returns if you want any information…that’s it, just wanting to lend a helping hand if I can. I wish you all the best for your upcoming adventure and I’m going to check out your page a little more..it looks like some good info and links.
Sincerely,
Wendi Henry
